I have never seen anyone work so hard, consistently, and as fastidiously as Deborah Truhowsky.

Nobody wants to see their parent being abused or neglected. My mother suffered both at the nursing home she lived in. One cannot explain in words the pain, agony, and helplessness that I felt. I called Law Firm of D.F. Truhowsky exhausted, sad, and angry. Deborah immediately said she would take my case and instantly I felt supported and that my burden was not mine alone anymore. I have never seen anyone work so hard, consistently, and as fastidiously as Deborah Truhowsky. She is not just an attorney. She is a good person. She fought for my mother's rights, relentlessly. She demanded justice, to the extent that the Attorney General's Office became involved in my mother's case, physically going into the nursing home and investigating the premises. They threatened to take away the nursing home's Medicaid status for non-compliance. (Among other things, they discovered that there was no Patient's Bill of Rights hanging in the nursing home anywhere). They insisted that a Patient's Bill of Rights be hung in every resident's room, in addition to signs with phone numbers to call, should any resident or staff member witness abuse or neglect on the premises. Deborah is a pro. Her years of experience as an elder care attorney quite simply make her the best. She did not give up on justice for my mother. I would recommend her to any individual who finds him or herself in the horrific position of their loved elder person being abused or neglected.
